PP FRP (inner: Polypropylene, outer: Fiberglass reinforce plastic)

PP(Polypropylene), also known as polypropene, is a thermoplastic polymer possesses a good balance of properties that can be tailored to a wide range of production processes and applications in chemical process. Polypropylene has also been the material of choice to replace tanks and other vessels fabricated from specialty metals such as stainless steel because of reduced original cost and long term cost savings benefits over the life of the equipment..

These materials work in concert to provide a specific set of strength and performance properties, including:

  • Light weight with high strength
  • Corrosion free and impact resistant
  • Dimensional stability
  • electrically non-conductive
  • Non-magnetic and non-sparking
  • Low thermal conductivity
  • Rapid installation with standard tools
  • RF transparency

Applications:

  • Scrubbers or Exhaust Systems (includes Palrings, Filter plates, etc...)
  • Centrifugal Blowers devices
  • Ducting (includes Damper, Blends, Flanges, etc...)
